Who Velora is for
Velora works for any business that takes enquiries and needs to reply before the enquirer goes elsewhere. There is no built-in question set and no industry logic: you write every question yourself, so the form fits your business rather than your business fitting the form.
The pages below are worked examples showing what that looks like in practice, not a list of supported industries. If your line of work is not among them, Velora works the same way, with your questions.
Worked examples by industry
- Home services
Velora gives trades and home service businesses a qualifying form that sorts incoming work by job type, urgency and location before you stop what you are doing to answer it.
- Real estate
Velora gives real estate agents a qualifying form that separates serious buyers and sellers from browsers before you spend a call on them.
- Coaches & consultants
Velora gives coaches and consultants a qualifying form that screens discovery-call requests on budget, readiness and fit before anything reaches your calendar.
- Health & wellness
Velora gives health and wellness practitioners a qualifying form that screens new client enquiries and records explicit consent with a timestamp and IP address.
- E-commerce & retail
Velora gives e-commerce and retail businesses a qualifying form for the enquiries that are not a normal checkout: pre-sale questions, bulk and wholesale requests, custom orders and trade accounts.
- General business
Velora works for any business that takes enquiries, including the ones that do not fit a neat category.
- Mortgage brokers
Velora gives mortgage brokers a qualifying form that asks about deposit, property type, employment status and timescale before you ever pick up the phone.
What do these industries actually have in common?
Very little, on the surface. A plumber, a mortgage broker and an online shop ask completely different questions and qualify people on completely different criteria. What they share is the shape of the problem:
- Enquiries arrive while you are busy doing the actual work.
- The enquirer has usually contacted someone else as well.
- Most of the first call is spent asking questions you could have asked in the form.
- The enquiries that go cold are the ones nobody got back to in the first hour.
That is the problem Velora is built around, and it is why the product stays deliberately generic. See speed to lead for the evidence behind the last point.
How do you set it up for your own business?
- Write the three or four questions you already ask on every first call.
- Branch where it matters, so the answer to one question decides the next.
- Set a qualifying rule if you want, or leave it and treat everyone who completes the form as a lead.
- Share it as a link, embed it on your site as an inline widget or floating chat bubble, or print the QR code.
Setup takes about two minutes, and nothing about it is industry-specific.
Common questions
- Does Velora only work for the industries listed?
- No. Velora has no built-in or industry-specific question set. You write every question yourself, so it works for any business that takes enquiries. The industry pages are worked examples, not a list of what is supported.
- What if my business does not fit any of these?
- Then you write the questions your business actually asks, and it works the same way. The only assumption Velora makes is that someone enquires and you need to reply before they go elsewhere.
- Do I have to pick an industry when I sign up?
- You pick a niche at signup so the starter form is a useful first draft, and General Business is one of the options. It changes the suggested starting point and nothing else. You can rewrite every question afterwards.
- Can I run different forms for different parts of my business?
- Yes. Forms are unlimited, each with its own questions, branding, qualifying rule and follow-up settings, and each gets its own tab in the lead inbox.
