Jotform alternatives

Jotform is a long-established general form builder with a very large template and integration library. Its entry paid tier is $39/month billed monthly, or $34/month billed annually (Bronze), with 1,000 submissions per month on Bronze, 2,500 on Silver ($49/month monthly).

Most people looking for an alternative want one of three things: a lower price, a broader set of features, or a tool that does something after the form is submitted. Those pull in different directions, so the honest answer depends on which one you are actually after.

What are the main alternatives to Jotform?

Typeform

A conversational form and survey builder, asking one question at a time. $39/month billed monthly, or $28/month billed annually (Basic).

Tally

A form builder with an unusually generous free tier, offering unlimited forms and submissions at no cost. Free for unlimited forms and submissions; Pro is $24/month.

Compare Velora and Tally

Velora

A lead-capture and speed-to-lead tool, $49/month flat for unlimited forms and leads, with a 14-day free trial. It is narrower than a general form builder: it only does lead capture, but it continues past submission into a push and email alert within about 60 seconds, a reply drafted for one-click sending from your own address, and automatic follow-up at 60 minutes and 24 hours.

When is Jotform still the right choice?

Choose Jotform if you need one tool for every kind of form, if you take payments or signatures in the form, if you rely on a specific integration, or if you need a free plan or formal compliance options.

Switching tools has a real cost: rebuilding forms, re-testing embeds and re-pointing whatever consumes the data. If none of the reasons below apply to you, staying put is usually the correct decision.

How should you choose between them?

Work out which of these three problems you have, because they have different answers:

  • Cost. If you are paying for capacity you do not use, the cheapest capable option wins. A free tier is a genuine answer here, and Velora does not have one.
  • Missing features in the form itself. Payments, signatures, complex question types or a specific integration mean you want a broader builder, not a narrower one.
  • What happens after submission. If leads arrive fine but go cold before you reply, no form builder fixes that. That is the gap Velora is built for, and the only good reason to choose it.
